Behavioral Therapy in Westchester, Illinois

Greetings! I’m Doris, a certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to delivering fair and empathetic psychiatric care to individuals aged 5 to 65. My treatment approach places great importance on involving the patient, forming a therapeutic partnership, and enhancing outcomes by considering their developmental history, bio-psycho-social background, and how these factors relate to their condition.
I adhere to the patient-centered care model in my approach, which values diverse perspectives and actively engages the patient in decision-making and treatment planning. My experience spans various healthcare settings, including inpatient hospitals, residential facilities, and outpatient clinics, where I’ve addressed a wide range of mental health issues. These include but are not limited to depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders like ADHD and Autism, conduct disorders, eating disorders, OCD, PTSD, Bipolar disorder, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders.
I’m an attentive and compassionate listener, committed to providing care that aligns with each individual’s beliefs and values. Every interaction with a patient begins with a thorough listening process to gather comprehensive information about the intrinsic and extrinsic factors, as well as life or environmental aspects that may be contributing to or affected by their current mental health challenges.

Hi! I’m Dahlia Braget, I am a Practice Manager with a strong commitment to strengthening the operational foundation of mental health care. Over the past two years in healthcare, combined with more than eleven years in direct mail marketing, fulfillment, and IT, I’ve developed a systems-focused mindset rooted in precision, efficiency, and accountability. Today, I apply that experience to support Synergy as it grows and prioritizes emotional well-being and compassionate care.
My background in high-volume Direct Mail Marketing and technology has taught me how critical structure, data integrity, and workflow design are to sustainable success. In mental health care, those same principles directly impact patient experience. When systems are clear and reliable, providers can focus fully on their clinical work, and patients can access care without unnecessary barriers.
Mental health is deeply important to me. I believe that behind every intake form, scheduling request, or operational process is a person seeking support. My role is to ensure that the administrative side of care is steady, organized, and responsive so that the human side of care can thrive. I am committed to building environments where compassion and operational excellence work together—creating practices that not only function effectively but also serve their communities with integrity and heart.
